Royalty as I see fit. Love them, like them, hate them- they are all here.
I think i have finally figured out why people could possibly think that Hewitt is Harry's father despite the obvious time line and Spencer/Mountbatten genes now evident. I came across pictures of the young 8th Earl Spencer [Diana's father]on his wedding to Diana's mother. Hewitt, at the height of the affair, greatly resembles Earl Spencer as a young man although not at all as he has aged. Harry, when he was younger looked all Spencer, which led to that absurd lie. What do you think?

Around this time, lawyers representing the Earl pressured the Daily Express to apologize for a piece that related to Lady Kitty’s rise on the social scene, to the Earl’s divorce from Caroline Freud, and to the division of the Spencer assets in that divorce.

If my understanding of the situation is correct Charles Spencer has not exactly stepped up in regards to his own kids, so I wouldn't expect him to do that for Diana's. I think he's a great uncle when there are cameras around.

Thank you for the additional info!

and what's so unbelievable about Charles Spencer's speech is he said all that about how the BRF would never raise the boys right and the Spencers would take care of them but Charlie has had basically no communication with them since Diana's death, he just ran off to South Africa with his mistresses and string of ex-wives while doing just about everything he can to make money off Diana's name, diana's sisters have had a small role in the boys' life but it's been the Windsors raising them

And what’s even weirder was that he was never around the boys leading up to her death either. The only way she talked to him was over the phone!

What was so bad about dianas brothers speech,

He talked about how she was in despair though in other times he said it was at the hands of the newspaper there was one time he didn’t where it seemed to be pointed at the BRF, then he talked about the boys being raised by his blood family which he emphasized was the Spencers. Then to top it all off he suggested that if they were to raise the boys they would be happy but if raised by the BRF they would just be drowned in traditions instead of being happy.

At the end of the eulogy the crowds outside erupted into a loud barrage of applause. The Queen and other royals looked very shocked by the outburst of the public and agreeance with what he said.

“She would want us today to pledge ourselves to protecting her beloved boys William and Harry from a similar fate and I do this here, Diana, on your behalf. We will not allow them to suffer the anguish that used regularly to drive you to tearful despair.

“And beyond that, on behalf of your mother and sisters, I pledge that we, your blood family, will do all we can to continue the imaginative way in which you were steering these two exceptional young men so that their souls are not simply immersed by duty and tradition but can sing openly as you planned.

Did diana's brother like charles before diana died..?

He was pretty against the BRF. His eulogy proved that to the entire world, and embarrassed the BRF.
